Well, after my first initial post about the Saw ride at Thorpe Park, I finally got the chance to experience it myself this summer, and I have to say, it was definately worth it!
Imagine this... a hot summer's day, a long and winding queue who a man described behind me as a 'concentration camp theme' due to the barbed wire everywhere, a man on the speakers declaring that Saw was experiencing 'technical difficulties' atleast three times, and a two and a half hour waiting time to ride the inevitable Saw.
Now, us British are known for loving a good 'ol queue but this was beyond a joke. For an American in a theme park, two and a half hours is pretty good going but us Brits are definately not used to that!
So, all of the above spoilt the excitement of going on Saw, not to mention the poor dialog coming from the speakers of badly fake american accents pretending to be Saw characters escaping from a game.
Two and a half hours later, 1 bottle of water, two packets of crisps and two bright red burnt shoulders later, I was ready to face my fears! Trust me... you will not want to miss this ride, I NEVER scream on rides but by the end of it my throat was red raw, one not to be missed!
